I never found a tutorial for exactly this.

You will find tutorials on networking, routing, firewalls but I fear that you want detailed instructions on how to get RDC from one machine to the next and specifically with this router and this OS to that OS.

That doesn't exist. (I write this since I would love to be proven wrong.)

-> OK let's cover the basics.

1. RDC setup -> http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=VISTA+RDC+TUTORIAL
(pick one you like)

2. Firewalls and RDC -> http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=RDC+FIREWALL+TUTORIAL

3. And a nugget I found to make matters worse. "AP or CLIENT" ISOLATION.
If you find this in your router, it must be disabled.
