Question #1. If you built the computer yourself, there should be no problems. As for oems, the oem psu may or may not fit. The psu connectors may or may not be proprietary. If proprietary and doesn't fit => very bad idea.

Question #2- If you have an oem. The movement of hard drive, may create problems. As the windows on oem machines will not allow for major changes to the pc's hardware.

Question #3-No. Might help, if you o'c. DFIs are good for that and expensive.

Question #4-MSI/DFI/Gigabyte- AMD
Asus-Intel

Question #5- MATROX PCI-Express x1 GFX card
PCI-Express x4- ??? Maybe future stuff. PCi-express x1 is similar to pci. so whatever is on pci will go to pci-express x1. ie sound card, wireless cards, etc.
