by Kirakun83 / February 5, 2010 3:02 PM PST

hi samsung, i bought a brand new LCD monitor P2370 to replace my current T220. The problem is no screen display after i change the curent montior. Swap the old monitor to my system, it's work. But, swap to new montior(P2370) "NO DISPLAY". I try to use it another computer, it's work. No problem on P2370 on my old system. It problem happened when plug in to my new system. The T220 work fine on both old and new system. Why??? HDCP issue?? I try using my friends LG, acer, dell, WORK PERFECTLY....

Old system
intel C2D
graphic card nvidia 8500GT
RAM 2GB
montior: worked on both T220 and P2370

New system
Intel C2Q
graphic card ATI 4770
RAM 3GB
montior: Worked on T220. P2370 (no diplay)

I very disappointed to samsung as i'm fan of samsung products. It's seen like a hardware compatible issue to the monitor. It's a shame on hardware and software enginneers to come out a products like tis...

Kirakun83,

What resolution are you using, and is that resolution supported on the P2370?

Hi my dear samsung, finally u reply. Thx for that. I been busy during the week. No time checking reply. It's not so important of using which resolution i using. The thing i wan to see on my screen is POST startup. If cant ever see the POST screen, than no need talk about log in to window. It's just showing BLACK screen only. This is the basic for all monitor must show on screen during POST start up. I want to said Monitor are mend for PLUG N PLAY. Not PLUG NO PLAY. I had call up for service hotline, and good want. Your technican stuffs, maybe i can said half of them are not very good in hardware knowledges. The best part i even heard is why T220 can work on my new setup is IT'S WIDESCREEN. i was want to laugh until cry. Good want, samsung. Nevermind, i throw the montior to my old setup. Getting a new LCD from other brand. Dont need to worry those black screen etc and your service hotline technican.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
