When you first posted, red text was flashed up in front of telling you to post make & model. You didn't do it. Then gwrach923 asked again. You still didn't do it. Then pgc3 asked again, and you STILL haven't done it. It's amazing to me how somebody can write but apparently can't read! Sad

HPD220 is a HP/Compaq microtower computer, is that what you have?

Hi pg3c

I don't have a compaq computer at all! When I first got my computer it wasn't there but then it popped up and has been there ever since. It's listed under my devices. Is there any way to get rid of it?

and find the System Information and open it. Remove what you don't want to expose and post the rest in forum to give idea of system.

You can also check your Event Viewer when this happens, find out more information on the process that comes up at that time.

It is listed under your devices. In Device Manager your mean? In that case:
- under what category?
- please tell us all properties (right click>properties)
- what happens if you right click>disable or right click>uninstall it?

If on some other place, please explain where and tell all details you can find. Right click might be informative.

How long did it take to popup between when you first got the computer and when you got it the second time? One hour? Two years?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
