I need an urgent answer

How do you set up windows mobile to sync with my email account at work. We use outlook web access. Is it also possible to sync contacts automatically with this service and how?

How does one get to Carnegie Hall?
by R. Proffitt Forum moderator / July 6, 2007 9:46 PM PDT

The answer to this and your answer depends on too many other factors. I take it you are looking for a step by step and that's not possible unless we use generic instructions. The answer also changed depending on the PDA.

But the damning issue here is Outlook Web Access. That is not something we sync with but point a web browser at. For that you use your PDAs web browser and hope it works.

Eureka! I have found out how
by oludir / July 7, 2007 3:47 PM PDT

This is interesting since I also was able to sync my contacts, calendar and tasks to my office outlook web access.

I use a verizon wireless xv6700. I clicked on activesync, then on menu. Afterwards, I selected server and entered the information needed about outlook web access. All my contacts and calendar information including tasks and notes are syncronised. For a person that refused to pony up the money for outlook 2007, this is a big deal.

Then you connected toi the Exchange Server and not

You went direct to the Exchange Server and not to the Web connection.

Glad that worked (and it should have.)
