I need a way to play mp3 files for baby!

Mar 23, 2011 5:03AM PDT

I'm looking for an inexpensive way to...

-play mp3 of white noise through the night for my baby
-need the track to repeat
-wish to use a wall outlet instead of battery

Can someone recommend the cheapest solution? I don't have an mp3 player yet.

Thanks!

White noise for babies?

Never heard of that before.

I'm intrigued. Is there some scientific reason for it?

White noise helps baby sleep
Mar 23, 2011 6:51AM PDT

Yes it actually works wonders to soothe baby and to help newborns sleep. The womb is a tremendously noisy environment and the transition to quiet night time can be very upsetting for babes. Babies sleep longer and deeper with white noise background. Pediasleep.com has some great tracks that I've personally had great luck with. I no longer wish to use a CD player though as these can skip and scratch. So, thats why i'm looking for a suggestion for a digital way to play these tracks.
