Question

I need a video transcoding/converting program

Feb 2, 2013 10:51PM PST

So i found some cool apps for video converting on google play for android, then i searched internet for such programs on windows, found a few ones, did not like them.

I need a program that will covert video resolution, bitrate, quality and sound quality. E.g. I have a video, resolution 640:480, bitrate 512 Kbps, and i want to convert it to 1600:1200, 2000 bitrate. Some programs let me do this, but they dont have support for many formats.

I will take any suggestions. Free programs preferred.
Thanks in advance.

But there is no single convertor I use. I have Handbrake, Super, Virtual Dub and not one Android tablet seems to be like the next. Go figure why.

Virtual Dub seems to be the most capable as far as how deep you can go into the settings but I find folk don't want to learn how to use it. They want tutorials or click here solutions.
