I need a good mp3 player with the following specs (hardcore)

hey everyone,
I need a good mp3 player, doesn't have to be apple. (Preferably not apple)
These are the requirements:

1) Storage: 12GB above, preferably something that allows for extensibility (like the cowon d2+ which allows you to plug in a Memory card)

2) Battery life; something that lasts long. So this probably implies nothing fancy, no extra large LCD screen with superior display whatsoever.

3) Non-linux-incompatible: Nothing troublesome like apple which requires quite a bit of effort to hack, (even with gtkpod formatting is not an option). I want something that can literally be dragged and dropped, something simple with the organization that allows songs to be arranged by their folders for example.

4) Mobility: I normally run while listening to mp3. So preferably nothing like the Classic apple ipod 120G model (it's too huge).

Deep down, I just want a simple mp3 player that has the above quality. I don't need the additional feature of watching movie on the player whatsoever. I am a linux person, I don't need anything fancy.

I do not want hardware drivers that are ********. I hear cowon d2+ has almost no documentation on its drivers and stuff and once you pick the display language you can't change it? ( I am not really multilingual, but I want something that is not as difficult to deal with ).

Why aren't there players like that where I can easily find on google? (Zune is not an option since it's NOT linux compatible).

The Sansa Clip+ would be perfect for you.

Perfect? Not quite

I just read the specs, its only about 15 hours, and only in 1, 2, 4 G in size?

It's basic enough, but its most basic factors don't really meet my expectations.

It also comes in an 8gb version for $69.99. The micro sd card slot allows for a possibility of 40 gb in total(when 32gb cards are available).
