Hello, I am looking for a dvd recorder that has customizable menus and autoplay. I have a sony that does horrible menus with very small type - they look cheap.

thanks Brian

I have yet to find this feature in a standalone dvd recorder. To create nice menus, I have to do so on the PC or Mac.

DVD Menu

I don't think you will find such a recorder.

I have a Sansui DVD set-top recorder that lets you produce a menu with lots of information and chapters (all text) but the DVD can only be read by the Sansui recorder/player.

You can also produce a DVD menu that is compatible with all DVD players, but the menu contains only the name of the DVD (nothing else).
