Basically the Panasonic 850 will charge from any decent USB charger, including a car charger or one of those batteries used to recharge phones. I understand that there is a Sony lead that will fit the Panasonic camera socket and have a USB plug on the other end, but I don't know the part number.
Hi guys, I'm a first time poster. Sorry if this is a noob question and/or has been asked before.
I've lost the AC adaptor and DC cable that charge the battery on my Panasonic Camcorder HC-W850M.
The manual/ and battery state that I must not use any other charger other than the one supplied.
They are not easily replaced.
I have another charger (not specifically made for this cam) and I would like to try it.
2 questions: What could potentially happen if I did not use the exact charger? And according to the specs below, would the alternate adaptor I have be safe to use on the cam?
