I made my own calenders - cheap method

by lydinabubble / November 18, 2005 6:33 PM PST

2 years ago I made calender for my friends for christmas. And I didnt use anything fancy. Would you believe I did it the MS Office???

I used excel for the months - i found it convenient to be able to make the boxes for each day. It was just time consuming putting the numbers in for each month.

After selecting the photos I wanted, I just collaged them in to a microsoft word document.

Printing?? I made one complete colour copy of the photo part on my printer at home. I then took that copy to Officeworks, and made full colour prints from it there - much cheaper then ink. I was also able to do the laminating and binding there. So in all ~ $6 (australian) per calender Happy

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
