Question

I made an error in relocating my My Documents folder....

Sep 3, 2017 3:20PM PDT

Hi,

I wanted to move my My Documents folder to a different HDD in my laptop on Win 10 pro. For the new location, I put E:\ , thinking it would create a My Documents folder, ie E:\My Documents\

However, it didn't, it created it in the root directory of E:\ and now I can't move it back to the default location because it says:
'Failed to build the list of regular sub-directories under "E:\System Volume Information" . Access is denied.

What do I do?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The reason I don't know the easy road back is I don't know how you got there. You can try creating a new user account and move over.
