I'm sick of headphones cutting out on me.

Apr 13, 2011 3:29PM PDT

Okay, I'm a little upset right now, because my $50+ headphones just started to cut out on the right side. I messed with the cord a little... It's not the jack, it's where they meet the speaker housing.

They are Sennheiser eH 150's.

This always happens to me, so I thought if I bought a nicer pair (before this I had never spent more than $25 on headphones) it wouldn't happen. I'm not sure exactly how long I've had them, I think it's been about a year, but for $50 this should not happen.

Let me get to my point.

What brand of headphones has solved this really annoying problem? It happens to every single pair I've owned, so why don't companies just make the connections better?

I thought Sennheiser could be trusted!

If I saved up for a wireless pair, would my days of frustration be over?

Is there a pair of (over the ear) wired headphones out there that never does this around $50 (or less!)?

Please help me, and end my headphone woes.
