I'm looking for a Camcorder that works well with a PowerPC

Mar 12, 2010 4:27AM PST

I have a PowerPC G5 and am looking to do some video editing. Unforunately the camera I used when I was using the PC doesn't work on either the USB or Firewire ports on the mac. I wanted to know if there was a camcorder that would work well with the PowerPC.

I was told that the best way to shoot video these days now was with flash memory, which allows you to record video on a memory stick and transfer it to the hard drive without having to do it through the capture process of the old days.

If all Camcorders work well with the Mac platforms and it's a matter of the format I use, than what would be the best inexpensive SD camcorder I could get?

Matthew
