I'm hatin Win ME

I'm used to Win 98! I am having a diificult time downloading and installing programs Mainly and utmost Yahoo msngr, aswell as java and other things. All the intalls go most of the way, but then say a missing element (?) DLL or something like that. Can anyone please tell me why??? and how to fix!!!?

that you have refused rather than a missing .dll file.

I would suggest that you check your security settings to see what you have allowed and what you've perhaps restricted and forgotten about...or somebody else restricted that you knew nothing about.

I would also suggest that you go to the Windows Update Center and make sure you are up to date with any and all critical and other windows updates.
