I Live c|net

Feb 15, 2006 4:41AM PST

Its been a while, but BOL have really got me back into the c|net brand.

The weekend projects are kinda neat - not that I need them - but i spend all last night watching them. You guys really love tech and must have the most fantastic job in the world. I wanna 'work' for c|net.

Well yeah, cnet seems. I need something to make a living from, shmae i'm so talentless!

Anyway guys and girls at C|net keep on doing your thing!

The importance of iTunes
Feb 15, 2006 9:53AM PST

I don't know how podcasts get listed through the iTunes music store but I would likely have never subscribed to Buzz Out Loud had I not recognized the CNET brand name when searching through the endless dreck.

In other words, the only filter I really used was brand recognition. Like if a podcast has ABC (in my podcasts, Australian Broadcasting Corporation) or NPR or CNET attached to it, I would assume a certain level of professionalism. I've been pointed to other podcasts from friends and websites and BOL and this forum but before that, it was just name recognition and being on iTunes. I know I'm not alone.
