i like the slimmed down version of the podcast

Mar 13, 2006 11:02AM PST

i like how you guys slimmed down the intros on the podcast. no more of the "i'm write this column and that report, and stuff" i like just cutting to the chase... introduce yourself, and get it on. you're talking to geeks here and i we like what you are saying we are savvy enough to find out what else you contribute to. And i like how veronica has finally settled on her intro. While molly wasn't around, she struggled, and even before that, you weren't even hardly mentioned. but now i truly think you are as much a co-host as tom or molly. i like rounding things out with 3's. tom, molly and veronica. it just has a nice ring and completeness. and now that V has settled on her intro (very nice and simple) the podcast seems slimmmer and meatier. i like it. now, if we could just cut down a little at the end with all the "how can you contact us... newsletter, links, voicemail, forums..." that would be even better. and i truly love the outakes at the end. that is sooooo awesome. every morning when i listen, i am hoping that there are some outtakes after the end music... when there aren't i get disappointed. when there are it just brings a smile to my face. but now that i think about it, you gotta keep things rare, or else people take it for granted and it loses its appeal. but definitely dont stop with the outtakes. very funny stuff. and by all means i love how you guys can just be yourselves,... being real. ya know goofy and funny and vulnerable and whatever else.

keep it up...

Eric

nope... but...

i did pretty much all of it without stopping, so thats why it sounds like a bunch of ramblings. when i get in those moods where i just have an idea and words behind it, i dont care to make it pretty and formatted nicely. makes for tough reading, but didn't feel like going back and formatting.

oh well. thanks for reading it though, at least i dont feel like it was a COMPLETE waste of time!!

Just the lowercase everything and one big paragraph made me wonder. Happy

Getting better, but I miss the funny snippets at the end
Mar 14, 2006 3:03AM PST

Hey BOL team, what happened to those funny snippets you guys put at the end of the podcasts? I miss those! The best one to date was the one when Tom & Veronica were acting out a cheesy horror movie at the end, and it then turns out the Tom's mic volume wasn't turned up instead of being "dead"! Great stuff!

Love those!

I mentioned it in another thread, but sometimes it's my favorite part. How about the "animal noises" one?
