I Just Order a New Apple imac.

My new Apple imac will be coming by UPS... What can I do with my old Apple imac G5. Tiger??? Still running good. I was thinking of giving this computer away " school,ETC." but how can I DELET my hard drive with my personal infor????

Use the Restore disk that came with the G5

or an OS X installation disk, to erase the drive completely.

I lost all my disk...... Where can I buy a firewire 400 0r 800??? I search the internet can't find any for sale???

"firewire 400 to firewire 800 cable", entered into Google brings up hundreds of places that sell them.

As you have lost your disks, I would suggest that you remove the hard drive from the G5 before you pass it along.
If you want to be nice about it, you could always purchase a new SATA hard drive to put into it.
The new owner would require OS X installation disks to restore the machine to working condition.

If so, they may be able to help you out with a copy of OS X for that G5
