I haven't listened since 2005

by x1800yolk / January 19, 2007 11:10 AM PST

I sorta missed BOL for 2006. I started listening in the summer of 2005, and I started again this year. Things have really livened up! The last time I listened was when Google Book search came out, and they were threatening to take it down. Anyways, It's good to be back.

I didn't said goobuntu, i said gootube, refering to the time when google was going to buy youtube and Molly (or was it Veronica) said that google should call you tube "gootube" (I think it is correctly spelled)

However i did not include the google linux distribution in my short summary

You forgot to mention the most important event of 2006. Perhaps, one of the most important events of this century.

Snakes on a Plane.

Maybe I listened more than I thought I did.. I remember all of these things. I kept up to date on the newsletter, but didn't listen to any of the podcasts. forgot to mention that, so maybe I didn't miss as much as I thought.

You haven't listened since 2-0-0-5?!
I almost fainted. Start listening now, hey perhaps you could beat the back-to-back BOL record. I think it stands at 8 hours. With over a year's worth of BOL, you stand a strong chance.

Just kidding. Please don't attempt this at all, it may destroy your social life and your health too. Also, your cheek muscles will ache.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
