...to be a thread starter, thought it was an answer to some post in another thread that instead got caught by the Add New Discussion button usurping the Reply button's spot, thereby becoming "orphaned".

He was guilty of a huge cover-up and therefore in MHO not worthy of promotion. He admitted his guilt, when he resignrd his post.
This is just another after thought, also just my opinion, another reason why we need to make sure we keep Church and state seperate. I an RC but it refers to any sect.
