General discussion

I have talked to many stores and everyone says....

something different.

I guess after looking here and other sights I have narrowed it down to 3. I will be using a pc to edit. I am using the camera for home video and sporting events.

Panasonic PV-GS 250
Sony DCR HC42
Canon ZR500

Best Buy tried to push
the JVC Hard Drive

What are you thoughts? I have about $900 to spend and I will not be using this camera for still pictures.

Please help anyone.

inferior video. My suggestion is either a Sony or Canon miniDV unit. See if you can find one that has a microphone jack to allow the use of an external mic.
