The envelopes they send to pay bills are terrible

In reply to: for obvious reasons!!!!??

I am surprised that they dont lose all my checks. Plus they make it awful easy for prying eyes to see things they shouldnt. I was using tape for awhile, But now it has gotten impossible so I give them a drop of "super" glue. But will try gorilla too as I have it in my toolbox!

I haven't had any trouble so far, but....

I have noticed the envelopes are getting kinda flimsy.

I agree.

Some of those envelopes have glue only in the middle of the flap, leaving the sides of the flap unsealed. I go the tape route.

(NT) all envelopes should be 'peel and seal' like stamps

I quit using snail mail all together.

It's electronically transfered anyway, so gone are the checks. I just save all web receipts as PDFs.

All but a couple of mine....

... are electronically tranferred, too. But not on line. I just signed up for the service with each individual one when offered. All of my utilities offer it.

These sorts of conveniences are not that far behind the wheel when it comes to top inventions. Happy

Besides that, the obvious change needed

In reply to: I have started using super glue to seal my envelopes

I'm tired of having to be so careful to make sure the address is
facing through the "window" on those type envelopes. I much prefer a fully
enclosed envelope with a printed address on the front where I can just put
the check and return portion in without worrying about what is where and how
it's facing.
