That's not a problem with Internet. It would be a problem with your home network - if you had one - also.

If google the error message you gave with https://www.google.com/search?q="cable+adapter+network+unknown" google finds nothing. So either you have a very unique problem, or you get another error message than you tell here or it's a bad translation into English. That makes it nearly impossible for anybody here to help. Can you find it yourself with google?

And can you tell what changed since it last worked? I don't assume it's a totally new PC right from the shop now. And I don't assume either that it never worked on this PC. So something must have changed to cause this (either hardware, software or settings).

drivers

yes as answered u just have to install new lan-driver. be sure its right for ur pc windows system w7-10 and 32 or 64. it does not work if not right one. and load driver from ur pc homepage! before that check info from start-computer-properties. if this wount work u may have other missing parts from hard disk and then support is really hard.... u may have to recover ur system.

If you upgraded from Windows 7 or 8.1 to Windows 10 and can't find any available wireless network in the list, check out method 4 & 8.

- Nothing in the thread so far shows that it's an upgrade problem.
- What is method 4 & 8?
