Those sort of posts gather spam and the spam is removed quickly. Also, if a member makes what the Moderators call a "spam magnet" post those are cleaned out and then locked with a note about that.

Does this mean I can't get any information about fun apps?
And the iPhone/iPod/iPad forum would be your best option. The only catch is that they attract spammers, so you may notice that replies get deleted more frequently and, if the thread draws a lot spam, it gets locked. Asking can be a good complement to checking Apple's App Store for popular apps, but just fair warning that spammers take advantage to advertise apps that may not even be worthy of recommendation in the first place.

We can do that. If you were shopping for Apps, that's one thing. If you are looking for a review on some apps I use Google and the App store reviews.
