Hello Rocksister,
Please inform us which browser do you use and what sites can not be accessed.
Try to disable AVG temporarily, restart your browser and check if the issue persists.
If it does, then the issue is most likely not caused by AVG.
If the Firewall component is not present in your AVG interface it is possible that AVG Firewall is not installed at all.
Try to run add/remove components installation and add the firewall component.
Thank you
I bought PAID two-year licensed AVG for my PC last year. I switched browsers last week and am attempting to discern why I cannot access certain sites. I have read in Help files that I must set up my firewall in AVG by double-clicking it on the User Interface, or selecting it from the Tools drop-down menu in order to ascertain if certain sites may be blocked by AVG firewall. I do not have firewall listed in either place. I know that FREE AVG does not offer firewall protection, but I have PAID AVG, full price, which I ordered from Amazon.com last year. Why do I not have firewall choice in my interface or tools menu?
