I have no category view in the control panel!!!

by sweethoneypie11 / March 28, 2006 12:08 AM PST

Where is the category view in my control panel?
There is absolutely no option for it.
"Show common tasks" is checked but all that is on the left hand side are the "See also: windows update, help and support" icons.
Help please!

Some options to try.
by caktus / March 28, 2006 12:37 AM PST

Right click on an empty area on the Task Bar > left click Properties > Advanced > under Control Panel select Display as menu > OK > Apply > OK.

Go to Kellys-Korner and download and run #224. Show Control Panel on the Start Menu or
#256. Restore the Control Panel (NOT --Disable).

Hope this helps.

sweethoneypie11, Open your Control Panel and on the left side where it shows the word "Control Panel" just click on the 2 upward arrows to the right of the word "Control Panel".
