I'm back home again after a little RR in Disney land. I had a choice, go home with in home and out patient therapy at a closer location or into Re-hab for 2 weeks. Done that, did that and figured if I go back in Re-hab with all those pretty therapists, I would really have a melt down. So I'm home. After many X-rays, Cat scans, & MRI of the back, it was determined acute arthritis in the middle and upper spine and an old compression fracture at base of the spine. L-12 I believe. Thank the good Lord there was not any Blood Clots floating around the lungs. I'm sailing high on Prednisone, Oxycodone, Lidoderm pain patches, Mussel relaxers and a lot of swearing. Talk about mood swings, these are the grand daddy's of them all. I won't be on these long, once I can get the edge off this constant pain and spasms. All this crap they toss into you is OK for a few days, but I'm not going to be walking around like a zombie doing the old mans shuffle for very long.
Thanks so much for all Prayers, Get well wishes and Caring thoughts extended to me during this recent Hospital visit. I really appreciated it. It lifts your spirits to know you have many friends out there that care. Friends I have never met, but feel like I know you all. Good People I call it. Thank you: James, Glenda, Terry, Cindi, Grim, Roadrunner, Roger, Jonah, Sasha Tee, Angeline, Dragon, Marcia, EdH, & John. My daughter says thanks too. Shes right out straight working a lot of overtime and studying for an Auditor position. Sunday morning is about the only time she has for the computer.
