General discussion

I have dual monitors but the second one is less bright.

I have two AOC 22in monitors hooked up to my ATI 5770HD graphics card through the DVI ports. My main monitor has been working fine and the screen is good but when I hooked up the second one it is less bright and the colors aew different. I messed with the brightness and contrast and tried the color calibration from Windows 7 but it just seems that the monitor has less light behind if for some reason.
Both of the monitors are hooked up through DVI to VGA adapters because i use their DVI slots for something else.
Any ideas as to why this might be happening. Also any recommendations for good color calibration?
