Ok, here goes. Yesterday afternoon, my friend was on her Windows XP Home Edition computer deleting her little brother's games that was on her computer.
Then by accident, she deleted one of her 3D audio hardware. When she restart
ed her computer, it prompted her to put in her Windows XP CD.

The thing is that, she lost her Windows XP CD and she isn't getting any soun
d on her computer. What can be done besides purchasing another CD?

Please help, any helpful advice would be great. I've been searching on googl
e for help, but I havent found anything.

Thank you :).

Microsoft, for the small fee of 15 bucks supplied me with a replacement CD. Much less than what it cost to open my car door when I left the keys inside.

Thank you both for your help :). I'm clueless when it comes to this stuff. All I know is graphic design , nothing else.

Have a nice day.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
