AVG Free

Not a solution so much as an alternative. There's a great freeware anti-virus program known as AVG Free if you can't fix your current problem.

Goatman,,,Are You Running A Pop Up Stopper?
by Grif Thomas Forum moderator / December 15, 2004 4:21 AM PST

A little more information about your computer would sure help...Which operating system are you using? Which browser are you using? (Internet Explorer is probably best for this particular situation because it will allow scripting and ActiveX which are frequently required by registration set ups.)If you're running Windoww XP SP2, then Internet Explorer 6 enables a pop up stopper which can be disabled by opening IE, then click on "Tools" in the upper left, choose "Pop Up Blocker", select "Turn OFF Pop Up Blocker".

In addition, please try installing the new Windows Script engine from the appropriate link below:

Windows Script 5.6 for Windows 2000 and XP

Windows Script 5.6 for Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition, and Windows NT 4.0

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes..
