But this appears to be a socket 478 board so that puts it at so old that no tech or company I know today would bother to try to bring it back to life. That would be a Pentium 4 and for close to 150 we picked up refurb ready to use i3 laptops.

I advise you stop work on this if this is a Pentium 4 machine and shop refurb laptops with generations ahead of the P4.
