Then reload from your last good backup.

I offered a link about settings, drivers and more but that failed. Since a change in OS is far from automatic as to drivers and more, I see a lot of folk that tried 10, didn't realize they needed to do the driver hunt again and were very upset about that.

So back they go and the rollback can be not as it was before causing the folk again to need to do the settings, drivers searches. As no 2 PCs are alike they are often upset that no one has the answer specific to their custom PC.

My bet is it's the drivers or settings noted in the Mozilla article. But I do hear similar complaints a lot. Microsoft is not your source for the drivers. 10 or other.

Re: full screen

I see a few posts here complaining that reverting back to the old OS doesn't result in the exact same situation as it was. Somewhat strange. That's why it's best to make an image backup before upgrading, so you can go back to that image.

Anyway, I suppose it's some setting. If you can't find it, and non of the solutions in the link from R. Proffitt work, it might be annoying enough for you to perform a clean install of Windows 7. Since you built the machine yourself, you know how to do that.

I was looking for an answer

I was looking for an answer not another thread with 1000 words... Thanks anyways

I can't see how the answer can be less than that.
Aug 29, 2015 9:02AM PDT

Why? Because we can't be sure if it's a setting or a driver. That means it blows up to the over 1000 word answer which I linked to. That Flash Hardware Acceleration is less than a paragraph and worth trying as you can flip it on/off pretty fast without having to go driver hunting.

-> Your post is why I think folk are getting wear, tired of Windows. While it was fine in 2000, today folk are looking for more "it just works" systems.

Answer
have you toggled the taskbar settings?
Aug 29, 2015 6:51AM PDT

You mean the bottom bar that is supposed to auto hide if set to that?

Think I solved it
Aug 29, 2015 9:56AM PDT

So I was literally just having the same issue. I right clicked on my taskbar and noticed that "lock the taskbar" was not selected. Once I selected to lock the taskbar, the issue went away and now everything plays full screen as it should.
