My yahoo messenger has always worked great for 5 years and now I can sign in and then it says you got mail. But when i click on mail link it opens a blank page and says Yahoo can not find the web page. and i rey to uninstall it and reinstall and same thing happens. Its driving mr nuts why the last 3 to 4 weeks i have not be able to use it. I hope some people can help me with this and give me easy to understand on what to do? thanks for all the help.

Just A Couple Of Thoughts..

First, because malware is a cause of many such things, I would download, install, update, then run BOTH of the free malware removal tools from the links below. Delete anything they find.

Malwarebytes
http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/

Super Antispyware
http://www.superantispyware.com/

If that doesn't fix the issue, then make sure any add-ons to Messenger, if installed on IE9, are enabled.. Open IE9, click on "Tools" in the upper left, choose "Manage Add-ons". It's also possible you have an add-on that is faulty.. "Disabling" them all might also help Messenger working again.

Hope this helps.
