Question

I have a 4year old Samsung HLT5075SX/XAA with white dots

by wsimmons75 / October 20, 2012 1:33 PM PDT

I have read on the web that this is a pretty common problem with these tvs. Alot of people are getting a one time repair through Samsung to fix the defective dmd chip. How would I be able to find out if I could get the same service?

When I click on the link you put above.... my computer keeps bringing me back to this one (which doesn't help since I don't use twitter or facebook):

We have let our TV sit in a closet, for over a year because of the white dots and NO HELP to get it fixed from Samsung. I would REALLY love to use it again and REALLY want to get it fixed!!!!! I spent 3 months talking w/ Samsung reps who couldn't or wouldn't help me (last summer) and now I am PLEADING for your help!! I own model# HL-T5676S
Model Code: HLT5676SX/XAA
Mfd May 2007

The white dots TOOK over starting Mar 2011 and practically covered the entire screen by August 2011, causing us to unplug it and replace with our old fashioned box unit from a bedroom Sad

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me what to do to get it fixed.

Thanks,
Julie

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
