What widget? What system? (Is it a 10.4 dashboard widget? Is it a Vista sidebar widget? Is it a Yahoo! Widget Engine widget?)

I completely forgot to give system info...

It's the OS X 10.4 Translation Widget (for the dashboard) that's bundled with Mac OS X.

I'm running 10.4.9 which could be the problem, but this has happened before. The words aren't even in spacing and size and the background is no longer transluscent --- not to mention the widget has no functionality..

I can't help. Vista, yes. But I'm running 10.3.9 so no Dashboard for me.

For some reason the 4th post mysteriously won't appear... but it's ok. I contacted Apple support who refused to help me (Translation widget is third party)...

I went on my Guest user, copied the translation widget file from it, and put it into and replaced the one in my user's. Problems all fixed.
