That's not good at all!!!

What's the doctor say about the spot on the lung? Are they doing more tests?

Hopefully you're drinking tons of fluids and getting as much rest as possible. And also hopefully, you're not in the path of that horrible hurricane!

Re: i had relapse:(

Spot on lung! Doctor concerned!

Pneumonia can cause spots on the lung and some can remain there for quite a while. The cardiologist reading your x-ray gives a report to your doctor. Your doctor reading the report and if concerned about a spot possibly being cancer would order a CT (CAT)scan that would give better info on if cancer is suspected and if a biopsy should be made.

A CT scan can be expensive. The hospital sends a bill to Medicare on me for around $1400 each time one is run. Of course Medicare does not pay that much.

Do you have Veterans Admin Disability, Medicare, Medicaid, or other insurance that would pay for the CT?
Should be a lot of good hospitals where you live around Atlanta, Ga.

JR
There are still a spot or two on my lung from pneumonia of two months ago. After 2 CT scans they haven't enlarged.

Re: i had relapse:(

Hi Mark:

Hopefully the spot is just something related to the pneumonia and it will clear up when you recover, which I hope will be soon. Take care of yourself.

Do/did you smoke?

You are in good hands!

No doubt the worse thing is not knowing what is going on.

Right now the important thing is to take good care of yourself.

BTW, is your sister still on the mend?

We will be praying for a good outcome, Mark.
