Keep it handy.
2. EWIDO (google it.)
Eject what it finds.
3. Dump the P2P items.
Don't debate this here. The mods (me included) pretty much agree that if you find a machine in trouble and it has P2P stuff, we have to rip that out.
Best of luck in finding a cure.
That was closed last night. The moderator said that I didnt care about security, and so he closed it. But thats not true, trust me, my computer is on lockdown now. My problem was that any program besides browsers and instant messengers (AIM and Yahoo) cant access the internet. It started when AOL Security Center was installed, which did nothing other than slow down my computer and cause a bunch of mix ups in the security of the system. So, in essence it wasnt helping. I didnt delete it because I dont care about security. In the future, Mark, before you close a topic, please give me a bit of a warning.
