I hacked windows 8 pro cd now dled videos wont play

Ok when windows 8 pro upgrade cd came out i bought it thinking it was the full operating system but of course it was not and everything was locked,so i read the trick to go in to the registry and change a few things and i did and the window 8 pro upgrade cd was unlocked everything was fine for years now all of sudden the last 6 months all downloaded videos wont play with vlc media player,windows media player,real player itunes no media players at all, one geek squad agent got vlc media player to work but it only lasted for a month so im wondering how do i get dled videos to play again


any suggestions im using a hp pavillion elite hte running a windows 8 pro upgrade cd that i rearranged to unlock all features

I'd try with with a clean install of a fully legal unchanged paid-for Windows 8 install DVD.

You may get your answer but, as far as I I am concerned when you modified the operating system you broke the terms of your License with Microsoft and there will be no answer from here. This makes you no better than any other common Pirate. There should be ) tolerance for any type of Piracy..

To date, no one has raided your home because you tinkered with your PC or OS. I see not problem in tinkering but if those that tinker don't "own" what they did, and demand support then they lost their right to tinker?
