i got a virus and is driving me crazy

hey i have my computer and i have windows xp and well nothing want to open, i hear is a virus , well a computer tech said that.. but now i try to install a antivirus but it will not install or open any programs at all... i try doing it in the run mode from the start menu but it didnot open up the cd drive... i dont know what to do.

o.k... you are giving me programs to kill the virus but i am telling you that nothing will start on the computer, how can i start this programs if the cd drive does not respond even on the run menu from the start thank you.

Parallel install of the OS then kill it off.

o.k yeah that might be possible but i dont have the cd for windows xp, so i dont know, i thinkihave to send it to a tech so that he could help me... becuase i dont think there is a way to fix or to get insideof the pc without the windows xp cd, .. thank you any ways to all.
