LOL, clearly they're just trying to cover their you-know-whats legally and don't really expect terrorists to be honest about their intended use of their computers.

But the story reminds me of an interview I have on tape with Gerald Ford. The topic was the Warren Commission and Jack Ruby. Ford was asked what he thought about the theory that Ruby was working for the mob and that the shooting of Oswald was a "hit." Ford said that he knew for a fact that Ruby wasn't working for the mob because he asked him if he was and Ruby said, "No."

I'm not kidding.
