I.Explorer script error, blocks printer

Nov 20, 2004 11:41PM PST

lately I've started getting 'script error' messages when I try to print anything..online or not. speci-
ficly just when the Lexmark-Z42 would normally begin
printing, a box pops up that reads
internet explorer script error
line: 1174
char: 1
error: unspecified error
code: 0
url: res://C:WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SHDOCLC.DLL/preview.dlg
do you want to cont. to run scrpts on this page?

so I click yes & nothing happens!! really getting p.o.
'd now. recent upgrd from I.E.5 to 6. checked the IE &
printer settings, ran trbl shooter, tried all I know. anybody have a clue?

Many solutions.

This simple Google search finds this has been solved many times. But you'll have to pick over which solution is yours since what you revealed is just the error but no other information such as if you ever used Kazaa, what OS, fetched latest Lexmark drivers and more.

But I feel the answer is in the above discussions.

An easy answer isn't possible, I'm afraid.
