If you were using AVG9, there are some known reasons of Blue Screen (BSOD) situations:
I downloaded the free and latest version of AVG 9 and my computer became disabled once i turned it on the next time. I was very shocked and disappointed. I was running windows XP professional. No one was able to fix it, even the tech guys at computer stores so I had to have my hard drive cleaned. Needless to say i wont be running AVG on my computer again.
