I don't have control over my Windows 10 desktop

Feb 25, 2018 9:06AM PST

A couple months ago I gave some feedback to Microsoft, and it took over my desktop, and changed it to a Microsoft login. I changed it back to local login, but other changes have remained. First of all, my name appears in the middle of the screen, and my icon image, which was originally just for MSN chatting, and is now also on my email because of Microsoft, also appears in the middle of the screen when I turn on my computer. In addition, today a reminder about a meeting tomorrow appeared in the lower left corner. I did not make any reminders. All that occurred was that someone sent me an email about it. The time and date also appear in large letters in the lower left. I would like to remove all these things that I have mentioned here, and not have them appear again. I have gone to the settings menu, but don't see how to make the changes.
