No. You might be able to run Linux from an external drive, but not Windows. While technically possible, it's a violation of the license agreement, ergo illegal.

I'll also mention you seem to have a broken keyboard on your new laptop. It seems the caps lock key is stuck, or something is causing it to put everything into all caps.

I don't think there's anything wrong with your computer, but don't run all caps, it means you are shouting at people when you do.

It's a joke. Albeit a very dry and sarcastic one, but most people do tend to get it.

XP can run from the external.

And if you purchased the license, there is nothing in the license to stop you from doing this. However it is technically beyond most users and certainly beyond what support you find in most forums. Let me give you a link to a discussion about running it on the external USB hard disk. Remember it will be very slow!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
