... if I didn't want to appear to be lending support to a movement I so adamantly oppose, I would like to try. I will bet that some profs will be joining the "festivities" today. I've seen signs at the protests with related unions logos on them -- not sure if its "official", but haven't heard where the unions protest being represented. So I tend to think my union would support me, and/or the employer wouldn't try to penalize me in the first place! Which, IMO, is quite sad.
