jk ed, i think Steven knew what light therapy meant....
.,
Me neither, I'm gonna sit in front of my computer all day , unless I'm having a nap.
your mysterioso posts tended toward the putdown. Maybe you didn't realize it.
I understood what Steve was saying. He might have been joking or not. I answered in a lighthearted manner. Somehow that makes me an idiot?
Yes, I read and understood the article, and I know the geography of the US quite well. What of it?
no!
i didn't read your post as lighthearted, i read it as if it was written by someone who had missed the joke....
dpruner said "I don't actually need it, you understand, but I do a lot of flying"

Did I? Perhaps you should review the thread.

Those aren't putdowns? They are NOT calling me an idiot? Okay, sorry. I saw them as such.

You know, you draw Spiderman, Superman characters as opposed to Bugs Bunny and Duckman.
that can be applied...accompanied by a smiley to indicate a weak attempt at humor. The word "light" has several meanings and is often (mis)spelled as "lite". It can mean "not heavy" or it can be the opposite of "dark therapy" which, itself, can have multiple meanings. Dark can be absence of light or it can mean to be macabre, etc. Because the spoken was transfered to print, verbal inflections that add understanding are lost. It was, again, weak humor and why I'm here at SE and not SNL. ![]()
Of course it could also be said that the interrogators at Gitmo were using light therapy to extract information from detainees.
and I don't think it matters as far as my response went. Why Jonah decided to use it to berate me is a total mystery to me.
