I always listen to my podcasts on my k750i and I love it. BUT My pockets are full! I carry an mp3, phone, pocket pc, wallet, keys, I WEAR JEANS F:G:S!!! There is only so much space! I hate it when my pockets are so big I look like a pear. So it?s not an ipod - but it IS a cell phone, radio, mp3, sometimes it even substitutes my PDA. The less I have in my pockets the better. As far as I know there might never be a radio function on the ipod. On the movie side. NO I don?t use it for movies, but on the bus it?s always nice to see some Simpson?s or scrubs if I am bored. Really hope the industry follows in the footsteps of S/E.
Well that was my little rant, nice to get it out of my system ![]()
Awesome show by the way
Love it!!!

Listening to the latest podcast, I totally disagree with you guys. I DO want my mobile (that's how we call a cellphone in the UK) that can play music (and video). Infact, I am using one now. I have an SE K750i, which can play MP3 and 3gp video (and radio). It has a Memory Stick slot, in which I put my 1GB. I often listen to my Musics AND Podcasts through this. And I have watched movie on it too.
K750i's sibling, W550i, is even better, with a proper 3.5 headphone plug, a 'flight mode' (which means you can listen to your music without the cellphone turned-on), and it comes with 500MB Mem-Stick off-the-shelf. If you go to Sony-Ericsson website, you can see their vision on mobile-convergence.
Granted that it is not an iPod (or Zen, etc), but for an Ad-Hoc mobile media player it is sufficient, as sometimes you don't want (or can't) carry your favourite mp3 player with you, and it actually sounds quite good. My only wish is that they will improve the player software, which at the moment not that User-Friendly.
Finally, there IS already a company who does Headphones which doubled as your mobile Hands-Free. It does as you expect them to do, i.e. mute your music when you receive a phone call. Have a look at skullcandy.com.
Love the show !
