Bob
I got a piece of malware last night called "Malware Protection." I knew immediately that it was a scam so i tried to open MalwareBytes but a window popped up asking which program I'd like to use to open it. Its doing it for every .exe file even though I've already manually deleted the virus/malware. Even Firefox doesn't want to work. The only reason I'm able to be on here is because it gives me the option to look for a program online. I think it may have something to do with my registry but i have no clue how to fix it. And I can't download any registry repair because it says blahblahblah.exe not found. I also recieved a pop up window concerning system32.
AVG, MalwareBytes, and Firefox all work while running the computer in safe mode logged in as administrator. Please help.
