I Cant Find the Right Camera and I need help!

Jun 15, 2014 3:15PM PDT

Hi There I have recently purchased the Canon S110 and at first loved it until I hit record for a video. Throughout the entire video I made, there was constant clicking (very loud I might add). I now know it was because I had it on auto-focus but still I think the loud clicking noise during zooming and focusing is ridiculous for a camera I spent over 300 for!

I am a college student and want a great camera for my projects and vlogging.

So now I am on the search for another camera and would maybe like to get a DSLR but honestly here is what I want.

MOST IMPORTANT:

Quite Auto-Focus and Zoom during videos

Output for Mic

Have Depth of Field in my video

1080 HD video

Great Zoom for concerts

Budget of under 500

IMPORTANT:

Compact

Long Battery life

If there is ANY camera out there that can accommodate all of that or close to most of it I would be over the moon!! Someone help me find my dream camera!

Your battery requirement is currently impossible.
Smaller cameras come with smaller batteries.
Smaller batteries have shorter battery life.

Hello,

For long battery life there is no guarantee, auto Auto-Focus and Zoom during videos - only few camera has that, normally a good camera does have good video features, to have a good video features need to buy camorder.
If you expect to get quality video from a camera that is nor possible, hence it is better if you plan for video camera, handycam, camorder etc.
Anyway you can get your desire camera at canon store. Go for canon and experience the difference, And if you want to shop online then go at imagestore .
