im getting a free digital box from comcast , my tv has a built in vcr, i can set tv to tape at any time with out me doing anything special, has any body here have or used same?

I have the digital box, as well.

In fact, 2 of them.

Comcast brought them, connected them, and took the analogs away.

There was no change in how my vcr or dvd recorder work.

(There probably would have been if I had done the switch.)
